You may have seen our lovely Fiona over on Create and Craft with our fab Aquamarkers this past few days - its a pick of the week! and alongside it there is the beautiful A Country Life collection from Morgan Fitzsimons, the stamps lend themselves so perfectly to the aquamarkers, do check them out :)

I really enjoy colouring with aquamarkers it is more forgiving than alcohol markers and so threaputic
I used the gorgeous Leaf Vein embossing folder from the textures range on kraft card and matted it onto coredinations cardstock. I cut the image using a nestie and painted it with the markers, the bow is from the cd rom

Simply Betty Saturday...

ON A SATURDAY!
Get in there me! LOL

Today is a day of very mixed anxieties for me
Its our nieces Birthday Party - whoop whoop Happy Birthday
ALTHOUGH
and a BIG ALTHOUGH
My lovely Sister in Law thought it would be great to go Ice Skating
OK
Now obviously I can't get on the ice because if I fall on my hand - eeeeek
So who on earth is going to stop my girls from breaking their necks?!
I am actually panicked inside lol
So to calm my nerves I think I'll treat myself to Pie Mash
Watch this space! I'll report back on any dramas! (fingers crossed there is none)

It seems both my girls friends were all born within the last and next few weeks, oh my gosh they have kept me busy making cards!
This is for one of Syds friends - these two always go shopping together so I wanted to make a little handbag shaped card.
The card is printed A3 from Crafter's Companion, the embellies from my stash, the numbers are Die'sire dies and the image is one of the stunning Black Friday images from Simply Betty.
Blinkin' love this girl so much!

Festive Friday...

Happy Festive Friday :D

So way back when in December lol - we went to see the X Factor live at Wembley, we had to arrive early to collect our tickets, so we had a mooch round the shops and visited Starbucks a fair few times throughout the day lol - anywhoo - this particular Starbucks had a super cute Christmas Tree, and sweet little coffee cup ornaments on it. Now my Mum is a Starbucks nut, I don't think a day goes by when she does not visit them! lol, so I said Oh I'll make you one of them for your tree, WELL - you can guess what came next LOL

January and I am just getting around to it!
Still at least she will have it for this year!
Thanks to the guy in Starbucks for giving me a clean espresso cup :D
So thanks to some Tacky glue, a paintbrush and a ton of Nuvo glitter
Ta DAH
It is so super duper cute! lol
I added some Ivy to the sides, cut on coredinations cardstock, the Ivy die is from Die'sire

May have to do myself one lol

Until next time

Today I have a card to share which focuses on Yellow
Over on the Spectrum Noir Connoiseurs page on facebook, that is the theme this month, I am scraping in just lol
This is a gorgeous image from Mo Manning

A Country Life...

Hiya Everyone
Back again, before I head off to bed :)

Friday sees the launch of A Country Life from Morgan Fitzsimmons and with Crafter's Companion on Create and Craft TV :)
This is such a beautiful collection, I fell in love with this image and it screamed out to be coloured with Aquamarkers :)
I wanted to keep the design of the card very clean and simple, the embossing folder is a dry stone wall from the textures collection, I thought it worked so perfectly with this image, the dies are ivy from Die'sire, covered in distress inks and shaped using a ball tool on some foam. Some contrasting black cardstock and I pierced the edges.

Aquamarkers Used
Aquamarine, Crimson, Leaf Green, Evergreen, Moss, Boulder, Chocolate, Sepia, Chestnut, Charcoal, Fawn, Desert

So its here but on a Wednesday - so I still hit the one a week
Well technically it'll be 2 this week, but we aren't counting (much) hehehe

Todays Card I have used poorly Betty
How sweet does she look all feeling sorry for herself and snuggled in a blankie
I don't look this good when I'm poorly! My hair comes out my head and goes frizzy in every direction - then it gets greasy and goes flat in every direction! lol - nightmare!
I wanted to keep her Clean and Simple and pastelly in colours :)
The papers are from the gorgeous Floral Delights range from Sara Davies, the embossing folder is Grande dots, I have wanted that folder for forever! so I'm chuffed I have finally got my mitts on it, the smaller dotty folder is the petite dots, the oval and funky shape are nesties, ribbon and lace from my stash.

Hiya Everyone

Oh my goodness, I've missed a good few days and a good few posts! so sorry - you know when things happen and you just find NO time to say Boo! lol - its been one of those kinda weeks - busy busy busy but feeling like you have achieved nothing lol

My hand is still mis -  behaving - I am still waiting for appointments to come through and I'm even begining to doubt myself over it now - wish it would sort itself out, my Niall told me the other morning, Mum you are clumsy! well thanks son! lol - I dropped item upon item that morning, felt a bit of an idiot but hey ho - on the plus side - my hand absolutely kills when I have to iron - I find it such a struggle - *enters Mart* lol - not his best chore but the kids do need clean ironed uniforms!

Anyways...
I don't know which post to catch up with first! lol
So I'll start with my Mo Manning Monday post but on a Tuesday
(In my head that sounds like the lego movie hahaha)

I mentioned about re-connecting with my Brother :) which makes my heart happy - well it was his Son's Birthday 29th Dec, and I am just getting around to showing you this card :)
I love being an Aunty - so hopefully his kiddies will one day view me as Aunty Jo - Cos I loves them to bits already!
I used papers from my stash, they are all pretty much loose now and I have a box full, so I kinda just rummage and pull out what matches - so I couldn't tell you where they are from, the letters are from Die'sire and avaliable from Crafter's Companion, I pierced the edging and used a little white gel pen for detail.

What a busy week, I cannot believe I have not been able to blog since Monday argh, sorry
My hand has been giving me jip with the colder weather, not sure how I'm going to get through the bitter winter when it kicks in! PLEASE don't snow lol

Today I have a card to share from Sara's Recent NEW Love range launch
You can check out everything Crafter's Companion on the Website
I used stick it on the die card cardstock, and covered it in glitters, the love die I cut in black card and covered in diamond nuvo glitter, I love the way the glitter looks different on each card stock. I used some 3d glue gel to raise them, the papers are from the paper pad.

Sorry to be short and sweet today
Have a great night
