Quixotic Challenges

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and dry! geees where has this downpour come from! as soon as I think I can brave going out it lashes down again, no wellies, and brolly in car argh, I so know I am going feel the drench! lol.


I have made a card for the challenge over on Quixotic Challenges, and this week the theme is "Stitching" oh did my heart sink, stitching is another enemy of mine lol, I just cant do it grrrr, the amount of card that hit the bin is shocking!!! but I tried, wouldnt be a challenge if it wasnt challenging right?! lol

I used this super cool My Guy Ian and coloured him with promarkers, I then cut him on a nestie. He is way toooooooo cool!. The patterned paper is DCWV Latte oooooh these are so scrummy! I added a few pearls and flowers. The stitching is the fake stitching stamp and my tiny tiny little bit either end of the greeting lol told you I am rubbish at it!

Passion for Promarkers

Hi everyone hope you are all well :O)
Today I have made a card for the Passion for Promarkers Challenge which was a sketch from Ida to follow and you can use any colours you want :O)

This super gorgeous image is from Jenni over at Cardmadfairy's Clear Stamps and is called "Sweet Snowbaby" isnt it just so adorable I absolutely love it, and have coloured loads ready to be made into cards so watch this space for a baby overload lol. A huge thankyou to Jenni as I won this stamp on the Spread the Love for Jaimie Blog Hop :O) Thanks muchly. The sentiment is an old Anitas stamp, and I added a little glamour dust, sheer ribbon and pearls, The promarker colours I used were: Cornflower, Blue Pearl, Pastel Blue, Dusky Pink, Pastel Pink, and Blush.

Penny Black Challenge - Song Title/Lyrics

Hi everyone hope you are all well, Its another dull day here, spose thats going to be the norm now!. Not much happening in the land of Joey, midwife in a bit then try and get more Christmassy projects done!


I have made this card for the Penny Black Challenge - with the theme "Song Titles/Lyrics" so as the sentiment says "I Wish it could be Christmas everyday" oh my gosh could you imagine! not only would I be broke but it would take all the meaning out of it too, lol, once a year is just fine.

I have used gorgeous Snowy, one of my fave stamps ever!!! I think he is one that will be pulled out every single year he is such a darl to use. The little bit of colour on him is promarker. I used MME papers surprise surprise lol, and the sentiment is also Penny Black.

Easel Card

Hi everyone, hope you are all well today, its dried off a little here :O) but ever so chilly, the roads all seem to be having work done so traffic is gonna be a nightmare this week!
I have wanted to try an easel card for a while after seeing them all over blogland but I dont venture from the norm lol, well I did today and this fits the Challenge over on The Secret Crafter
I used another CC Designs angel, and coloured her with a gel pen and promarkers, I cut her on a nestie and 3d foamed her dress. I inked all the edges on this my fingers are so dirty now tho lol. The sentiment again from the same set, the papers are mme, the flowers I covered with gold rub on then some glamour dust.
The thing is I actually really enjoyed making this one so roll on the Easel Cards lol, oh no!

Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying your Sunday, its a wet one here!


Its time for another Winter Wonderland Challenge and this week you have the choice of using that fab sketch Anne has provided or the theme "Pantomine" I went for the sketch! I love Anne's Sketches :O)

I used this gorgeous CC Designs Angel oh how I love these! I used the sizzix oval and smoothered it with ink lol, the image was coloured with promarkers. The sentiment is from the same kit. The papers are MME as if I would use anything else for Christmas this year lol, and that lattice punch another current fave!

2 Cards, 2 Challenges

Happy Saturday everyone I hope you are all having a good day, it has stopped raining, so I am gonna take the kids up the park for a while with their wellies, later tonight we have the fireworks display what joy!!! lol. I am hoping the exercise will help with my back, bum and hips as I have been in agony with them the past few days I dont know what it is or why but it is driving me nuts and keeping me awake at night!!!
Anyway on to the cards, I have made two the first is for:
Simon Says Stamp Challenge who this week have the theme of "Give Thanks"
I have used this GORGEOUS image by Elisabeth Bell which I got from Quixotic Paperie isnt it just so pretty I love it :O) I coloured the image with promarkers. The patterned papers are MME and I added some flowers and pearls. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and I used the MS Lattice Arch punch oh my gosh is this like the best thing since sliced bread I love it!!! even more than the doily lace!!! lol.

My second card is for Quixotic Paperie who have started their brand new challenge blog with a nice easy theme of "Birthdays" yay wishing Elaine a wonderful Birthday week :O)
I have used this fab Kraftin Kimmie Stamp I love these, I think it was Marlene who said they remind her of the rugrats oh my gosh they so do!!! lol I coloured her with promarkers, the paper again is MME and I added some ribbon and pearls, another Hero Arts sentiment.

Stamp Something for Jaimie

Hi Everyone I am here today participating in a special blog hop for a special little girl Jaimie. I first saw this on Tasha's Blog this morning then again on Lorraine's and knew my plan of action today was to make this little girl a card. Hello Everyone

I hope you are all well :O), I just wanted to pop in really and let you know that Nialls assessment went as well as it could do, and that he has a diagnosis of Autism. We were expecting it so we are ok about everything, Its all about making things as easy as possible for him now, so we are working on stragies for him and educating ourselves at the same time, its a long lifetime road ahead for us but with each other we will all be just perfect :O)
Sooooo as yet this week, no cards from me, I do hope to find some me time somewhere soon, I do still owe some Birthday Thanks please bear with me.xxx

Winter Wonderland - Jingle Bells

Hi everyone, wishing you all a lovely Sunday :O). Its a busy one here for us getting everything sorted out for school tomoz, and making sure we are prepared for Nialls assessment on Tuesday oh my gosh I am a little nervy not sure why as I know what to expect, think its just the realisation of it all maybe.

Its time for another Winter Wonderland Challenge, and this week the theme is "Jingle Bells" my fellow dt have done awesome jobs :O) I would also like to welcome Lynda on board as a permanent member of our Dt if you havent checked out Lyndas blog do you will be in for a treat :O)

I used this gorgeous image from Sugarnellie and coloured her with promarkers, I added a tiny bit of glamour dust, the papers are dcwv and basic grey, and I added some bow tied bells.

All That Sparkles

Happy Friday everyone :O) hope you are all well, I just wanted to thankyou all so much for the cards and kind wishes you have all sent me for my Birthday today, I will get round to you all indivdually I promise!!! My kids are super excited lol bless them, they both made me gorgeous cards :O)
My son made me the top one, lol, note the d/s tape backing still on there lol, inside he wrote his own message too bless, makes me melt!!! I dont think he quite got that the pressies would be what mummy wants, he was so dissapointed to see stamps lol! and below the one my little princess made, I love the ribbons hanging from the doily bless her, so much care went into her card!
and I have made one too :O) this is for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge "All that Sparkles"
I used this gorgeous High Hopes Nativity I just love Nativity scenes, and coloured it with promarkers. The Sparkle I added was a little glamour dust to the sheeps and the donkey, and I added a few gems, the paper has some glitter too. The sentiments are what I have in my draw, and I added a little ribbon.

The Sugar Bowl

Hi everyone hope you are all well :O) I am trying to be busy busy and get some of those christmas cards done Again..... feels like its going on forever and my list isnt getting shorter lol! My birthday goodies arrived yesterday, so I conned one stamp out of hubby so I could play. We went to start the christmas shopping yesterday, oh my gosh how busy do shops have to be grrr! pregnancy and shopping dont mix at all, the lovely lady in mothercare bless her, when I asked for a bigger size she told me your tiny you dont need that size, awwwwwww beaming smile lol! on another positive note I think someone has replaced my batteries with duracell as my energy levels are sky high :O) bout time too!
This card is for the fantastic sketch Kathy has provided over on The Sugarbowl with the optional to include lace, Thanks Kathy I loved this sketch!!!

OOOOOH I was so excited when hubby gave me this stamp out of what I ordered yay its so nice to have new rubber :O) and the papers I could not resist from My Minds Eye Signature Pad oh my gosh if you are looking for a Christmassy Paper I recomend these, gorgeous doesnt even cover it!!! I added a couple of flowers and snowflakes, and a few pearls,gems.

Just Magnolia

Morning everyone, Pregnancy insomnia arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! I am not impressed have been awake since 3am, dosed for an hour but I cant get no sleep, oh well least I am up and ready for the day sort of haha.


I made a card for the Just Magnolia Challenge, this week there is a fab sketch to follow from Martine thanks :O)

I used gorgeous Alva and coloured her with promarkers, I mounted her onto a sizzix oval, the sentiment is Hero Arts and the patterned paper K&Co. The flowers are random ones I had in my box.
