EASY.......

On to a couple of projects

This is using one of the GORGEOUS new Create-a-Card dies - I am absolutely in love with this one, I also used some Die'sire Quilling flower dies, Another firm fave of mine. I cut and embossed the die, left it on the card and used some cut and dry foam with a little distress ink through the top of the die. I sprayed the finished flowers with spray and sparkle and added a cabachon to the centres. The sentiment is from the sentimentals range and the pearls from my stash.
Here is another I have made using another gorgeous new Create-a-Card die which I cut and embossed onto black cardstock which I then sprayed with spray and sparkle. I added a few pearls and dome mounted it onto the card base,I think it looks quite classy- maybe for a new years invitation, you can have so much fun with this one :)

Dies...Dies...Dies...

But
Not just any dies...

OH MY GOSH.......
These are amazeballs to play with,I am in love and NEEEEEEED them all
You will find them HERE in the Crafter's Companion SHOP

Hi Everyone - LOL - I got a bit excited there didn't I
Hope you are all ok
I recently became a member of the Crafter's Companion Die'sire Team
I am so tickled pink I cannot tell you!
The talent on this team totally blows me away and I really hope to learn so much from my teamies

So I have a couple of Create-a-card makes to share with you :)

This one uses the Romance Create-a-card die
How special is this!
And it can be used for so many occasions, I cut and embossed it on Hot pink Coredinatons cardstock and mounted it onto centura pearl then onto black cardstock, I spray over the whole lot with some Spray and Sparkle-OOOOOOOOOOOOH that stuff is fabulous! and I added a couple of embellies from me stash.
The inside I made a pop up style, again I cut and embossed the die and mounted it onto centura pearl, I scored a line along the centre and folded it into a mountain fold, then glued it to my card base, the sentiment is from the sentimentals range :)

This next one I find so striking, I wasn't sure about it at first but I really like it now :)
I used the most gorgeous Create-A-Card Aurora
This really is the most special die adaptable for so many themes!
I cut and embossed the die on black card then sprayed spray and sparkle all over it, this looks so good on black card! I then used some Die'sire Ivy in coordinating coredinations cardstock, and the Nouveau Frame from Die'sire love this! Again Sentiment is from Sentimentals and embellies from my stash

Tunnel Book Tutorial...

Hiya everyone
Hope you are all ok
Sorry I have been absent again!
I am here today with a little tutorial :)

Step 1
Print off required sheets

Step 2
Cut all the elements out, for the piece with the aperature I cut it using a metal ruler and craft knife, I then covered over it using a bit of acetate- leave that to one side for now

Step 3
Score all the lines on your other pieces (the lines are marked) I used my ultimate pro to do this. Once you have scored them, you need to fold them Mountain/Valley style as shown

Step 4
Add glue to the bottom strip as shown and place your base image layer on to it, you need to repeat this on the other side

Step 5
Move up a fold and add glue then stick your second layer in, you need to repeat this step on the other side, add the glue to the back of the image you are sticking down (only the edge) as you don't want the strips to stick together

REPEAT this for your last layer

Step 6
This is what it should now look  like, take the piece you covered with acetate earlier, and add glue to the two long sides, stick this to the top of your tunnel book

Step 7
Take the last two pieces and glue them together as shown, then and glue to the base and stick your tunnel card in place, you can embellish as you choose, if you want to add anything to the images, like glitter or gems then do it before you stick them in place

Here is one of my finished ones
Which I used as a hanging,I thought this would look lovely in a childs room :)

Thanks for Popping By
Hope this was of some help :)
I do have a Brambly Hedge Spring Card Tutorial to share but will do that on a different post

The Snowman and The Snowdog Concept Cards...

Hiya Everyone
Hope you are all ok

I know a few people are having trouble with putting together some of the concept cards from The Snowman and the Snowdog kit so I have a pic tute here, I hope it helps :)

Concept Card 1
You start off with your sheet like this

Pop all of the pieces out

Take these two pieces, on the piece that has the hole, you need to fold the prescored lines down either side

Take your little decorative piece and stick it in place

Take your two toppers and a piece of twine, string, wire and attach it to the back of onbe of the toppers

Stick this to the piece that you have already folded the score lines, you can conceal the tape marks with card if you choose

Take the second topper and stick it to the first one, this covers over the twine, I like to use 3d collall glue to do this, then add glue to the sides

Turn over and line it up with the base piece and stick it down

You can then add all the other decorative pieces and embellish as you want too :)

(you may have a couple of little frames left over, I chose not to use those)

Here are a couple of finished ones :)
On this one I added a Die'sire snowflake and some pearls and ribbon.
This one I added some pearls, ribbon, flowers and used a little butterfly punch, a little piece of coredinations cardstock too. Instead of having this one as a twist card, Over the hole I layed a piece of acetate on the base piece as well and stuck the topper to the back :) I turned it so it stands this way :)

You will be able to find lots of goodies and all your staples such as glue and coredinations over in the Crafter's Companion Shop :)

Concept Card 2
Take the required elements

Pop them all out

Take the base piece and fold the middle prescored line
Then take the piece with the oval on and add a little glue just to the one side as shown above

Turn it over and stick in place as shown

Add glue to both sides of the last piece

Turn over and stick to the base lining it up, this will also hold the oval piece in place

This is your base, you can now embellish as much as you want, you can see the score lines and fold these back if you want too

You can now add your toppers, I like to use 3d collall glue to do this

Here are a couple of finished ones :)
On this one I added a die'sire snowflake, some pearls, ribbon, flowers, a snowflake punch and some card candi

On this one I added a couple of diecut trees, some ribbon, twine and a button and some pearls

Concept Card 3
Take your required sheet

Pop all the elements out

And fold the prescored lines towards the back, add adhesive to the front panel

Add your star piece to this

You can then add your toppers, you can build the topper up into the pyrampage style or just use one :)

Here are a couple of finished ones :)
For this one I used the die'sire leaf swirl and added a punched star to it, I cut a little snowman from one of the 6 x 6 papers and added him to the star, I offset the main topper and added the sentiment

On this one, I used a little acetate which I stuck to the main panel before I stuck the star down so that my topper would have some movement at the front.

On this one I decided to cut the star up to use it slightly differently and made an easel base out of acetate

I hope these help
Please do get in touch with me if you need any further help
