Scruffy Little Cat... & tute...

EXCITING Day today

The Scruffy Little Cat range is being launched over on Create and Craft at Midday :) 

Really looking forward to seeing the shows, the team has done a super amazing job with the samples :)

I was asked how to make this style card, so I have a little tutorial at the end of this post :)

I am using Chanel again today, this time coloured with just pens

I wanted to add a little glamour to her, so added some gems, and added them to the Die'sire flourish too, the sentiment comes with the stamp, all embellies from my stash, and the gorgeous papers from the CD ROM, The card base is centura pearl, I added a little glitter to her dress and eyes.

Spectrum Noirs used

Skin - FS2,1,4,7 TN3,4,CR3
Hair - EB2,GB8,9,10, FS8
Grey -IG1,4,5,6,8,9,10 TRUE BLACK
Pink - PP2,3,5,HB2
Brown/Yellow - GB1,8,9
IBI

I have tried to make this tutorial easy, it is picture heavy

 Take a piece of A3 card - I used Centura Pearl

Using your Ultimate - Score it at the Gatefold A4 Line, on the LONG side

Move that score line along, and score again on the Gatefold A4 line

Open up the INSIDE of your Ultimate board and line up your last score line and score along the 5th line

Once again, move that score line along and score down the 5th line

This last little piece is excess, trim that away

Your card should look like the above, Now I did not cut this down to size, so you can do that before you start if you want, and to the size of your own choice

Your first fold is that of a standard card fold

Your second fold will be bringing the longer piece back, so you are doing mountain, valley mountain

Your card from the side should look like this

And from the front like this

You then decorate and do whatever you want to with it, on the card I shared today, I just mounted the panel that I had matted my image on, remember not to glue the whole of the back of the panel only the bit that sticks to the front step of the card.
