Hello Little Angel...

Well GOOD Morning!
2 days in a row!!!
Hump day, I love Wednesdays, My Ella is at club so I get an extra hour at the end of the school day, honestly that extra hour is like golddust, it really means I can get a solid days work in!
And I do have lots to be doing as usual lol

Today I wanted to share a couple of makes from the gorgeous Little Angels Range
This collection is seriously seriously CUUUUUUUUTE!

So I went with Pink for a Girl
I adore that Baby Sentiment die, so so elegant, the paper pad in this collection is so cute. I love the tone of the pink, not to pale and not to Barbie, just right!

and Neutral for a Boy
Pretty much the same design as above but different colours and the Elephant die instead of the Giraffe, how cute are they?!

and then every colour as you don't know what your having hehehe
I knew what I wanted to do with these dies when I saw them, I think they are fab and so so cute!
Again that baby sentiment die, my fave I think

You can find the range HERE in the shop

I got it wrong yesterday drat! thats excitement for you, its ACTUALLY 2 sleeps today *sigh* lol

Hope you have a GREAT DAY
Until next time

OCTOBER!!!!!!!

Hiya Everyone
Oh my gosh, I always have such good intentions when I come to blog but months seem to pass before I get a chance! Highlights of a busy life lol

So heaps of launches have passed and heaps of fab samples I could have shown you too eeeeek

So I need to make up for that!

I hope you are all doing ok, and life is being kind, I kinda think I have forgotton how to blog hop around, I am going to try very hard to have a go at it tonight and tomorrow, fingers crossed :)

So one of my favourite, favourite launches EVER! Happened!
Oh Yes
Autumn Morning

As soon as this arrived at my house, I was giddy with excitement, every single thing in this collection screams at me! I could not wait to get started with it, and the samples I am seeing with crafter's using it are AMAAAAAAAZING! like seriously gorgeous, so you all love it as much as me :)

I wanted to try a clean and simple look as I totally knew at some point I'd go super heavy on the leaves and autumn colours!, I cut the die through the white cardstock and layered a piece of the patterned paper behind it, I then added a few touches of glitter, I die cut lots of leaves in white and the patterned paper and shaped them with a ball tool, the sentiment I stamped in the corner, and a few matts and layers, I was really pleased with how clean and simple this one finished up.

As soon as I saw this embossing folder I KNEW, I JUST KNEW, I had to do something for the kiddies with it, Just plain black card and a white inkpad, a few cut leaves shaped with an embossing tool, and super fun googly eyes :)

Then I went LEAF MAD, I mean seriously you could get lost in making leaves, there is something extremely theraputic about making them and then inking them up. This sentiment is my favourite from the entire collection, such a lovely one. The picket fence I have to admit has now become one of my GO to dies, I adore it. I have a 2 little pots on my desk of what I would call my essential dies, the ones I use over and over and over again, the picket fence has ended up there lol, it doesn't have time for a home with the rest of my dies!

A leafy close up, just because I love them!

For this one I was trying to go with clean and simple again and I did the same as I did with the first card, although I matted behind with red mirri card, it screams Canada at me now, everytime I look at it.

So you can find my fave range ever HERE in the Crafter's Companion Website, the website has had an overhaul and is super slick! check it out :)

Something else super major happened for Crafter's Companion too
Sara welcomed her second child into the world

How beautiful is this little man and his mammy
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS

Next week is Birthday Week, whoop whoop whoop, actually technically as I type its 2 sleeps! The new launches are amazing!!!!! You can catch it all on Hochanda

Thanks for popping by, I am actually, seriously going to try and do some blogging now
Enjoy your night
Until next time

Oh Christmas Tree...

How loverly it is to see thee...

I really need to get myself into full Christmas mode! I have been making Christmassy items for MONTHS, but nothing for myself argh! I even have my Christmassy playlist on my Ipod and have been rocking around my Christmas tree in my chair :)

I really loved this card I made, its quick, simple and easy and I have made a little tutorial for you on the Spectrum Noir website on how to create it - Coming Soon :)
I think I may well end up doing a few more like this over the coming months :)
I create the tree branches using aquablend pencils and sparkle pens, the lights I used the baubles from Sara's Luxury Christmas range - Avaliable in the Crafter's Companion store, and I added a little white gel pen to them, matted and layered with card and it makes a real quick card :)

The sparkle pens add a gorgeous touch of glitter (not that this pic picked it up!)

Thanks for stopping by
Until next time

If Friends were Flowers...

Happy Bank Holiday Monday :)

This seriously means blink and the kiddies will be back to school! WHERE has this 6 weeks gone :(
I have been working heaps this holidays so haven't done as much as I would have liked to with the kiddies, hopefully I'll make it up to them in the run up to Christmas :)  but work is work!
Next year I plan to book a little holiday somewhere, here in the UK though, Niall wouldn't adapt well to going abroad - its a long time away yet lol

Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you using some of the gorgeous dies avaliable over at Crafter's Companion. I do love it when I can construct a card solely from dies and the lemon colour on this worked really well.
The embossing folder is from the Darice range - you can find these in the Crafter's Companion store and I decided to keep it very clean, the oval is from the Downton Abbey range, and the flower is one of the quilling flowers from Die'sire, I used a little yellow distress ink, the spirals are the stamen die which you use in the centre of your quilled flowers, the sentiment is from one of the stamp packs avaliable in the store.

I love a little bit of dimension

Thanks for stopping by
Hope you have a fantastic day

Baubles...

Hiya Everyone
Happy Sunday to you :)
Thanks so much for stopping by on the recent Colourista Blog Hop I really appreciate your time and comments - you will ADORE the Colourista range

Thought I'd pop in with a little make I made using the Butterfly Mixed Media Dies from Crafter's Companion
and a Bauble I found in a store
I made a box from Centura pearl and lined it with some of the A3 printed centura pearl cardstock and  a little tissue paper. The bauble is one you can find in stores, I opened it up and added some of the butterflys hanging and some more tissue paper. I think its really sweet to give as a little Christmas gift for teachers or first Christmas bauble :)

You will find heaps of Mixed media dies over in the Crafter's Companion Store

Have a lovely Sunday

Gorgeous Hybrid...

Happy Tuesday

Today is my late Grandads Birthday, Happy Birthday Grandad, I hope you are having a party up there on your cloud x x x

Recently Crafter's Companion launched the most STUNNING Hybrid dies
and when I say stunning, I mean stunning, the team did amazing samples and they make for such gorgeous cards
Here is one I made using Flower Bed and Fancy Shutter
you will find them over in the Crafter's Companion Shop
I cut the dies from centura pearl and layered them onto some platinum centura pearl card, I then rounded the corners with a corner punch. I used a glue pen to outline the dies and sprinkled glitter over them, it did look super pretty in real life. I made the flowers from the rolled flower die from Sara's English country garden range. The oval is from the Downton Abbey Range.

Thanks for popping by today
Have a good day

First Biccys - Now Cake...

Gosh I am proper spoiling you this week!
Good job its virtual eh!

Today I have a Verity Rose make to share with you :)
Its a scrummy one too - cake - and not just any cake - CHOCOLATE cake
yes please nom nom
This was a project I made for the fabulous Verity Rose Collection from Crafter's Companion :) you will find all things Verity Rose in the Crafter's Companion Shop
This was so much fun to make, I used centura pearl then made a cake slice from it - I actually made a whole cake - but it was absolutely HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE so I opted for the 1 slice instead! Love that you can actually pop something inside if you want too. For my base I used an upside down paper plate, I covered it in doilies (these ones are from Sara's love range) I then used some coloured centura pearl and some dies from the verity rose collection to decorate.

NOM NOM NOM
I screwed some little bits of coredinations card up to create crumbs

The candle is from a local supermarket pack, and I added a bow to the back

I was so super chuffed with this fork and spoon, they are plastic and I covered them in silver gliding wax, they looked so good! and real! The sentiment and image are both Verity Rose
Isn't she gorgeous! This is Cupcake - A girl after my own heart lol - tea n cake yep!

Pinch Punch its the First of the Month...

MAY?!
MAY?!
MAY?!
Oh my gosh I need to get my Christmas head back on, we have the weather for it! - presents to organise and buy, lists lists and lists to be made - cards to be created - wow de wow - it'll be here before we blink! lol

Today sadly though lol, I don't have a Christmas make to share
Instead I have a rather srummy Downton Abbey Tea break make to share :)
Tea break as in go grab a cuppa and a biccy you know you want to :)
This card was not orginally supposed to be this card!
See I was happily constructing up the Jammie Dodger part of this card (to eagle eyed readers thats the Downton Abbey circle filigree die) and it struck me that it reminded me of a jammie dodger, so my original card idea got chucked out the window for biscuit and tea! well why not. I made a rocker card as my tea cup and used the oval filigree die to place my letters on, I cut the little teabag to shape and embossed it with one of the downton abbey folders. I also used distress inks and some of the Downton Abbey paper pad - you will find all things Downton in the Crafter's Companion shop :)

I am a Tea-o-holic on a good day its average around 15 cups on a bad day way way more eeeeeeeeeeep I know its probably not good for me but I am (in a very nose stuck up in the air kinda way) a Great British Tea Drinker - if I go anywhere I take teabags with me :)

A close up of me jammie dodger :) with a little added sparkle pen in the centre

Enjoy your Sunday whatever you are doing!
ooooooh Bank Holiday tomorrow whoooooooooop!
Until next time

Downton Filigree...

Say what?!
Yep really Downton Filigree dies!
These are incredible! I mean really!
If you are a die fan of any kind you'll need these! I honestly have not stopped using them as card bases, as matts and layers as aperatures - they are so much fun and so stylish!

This was a card I made for the launch
I used the largest circle filigree die to cut an aperature through my kraft card base, then I built the inside up using the filigree part and a quilling flower, lots of distress ink and some pretty papers from the Downton Abbey 12 x 12 paper pad, I finished it with a topper from the Downton Abbey kits - you will find all things Downton in the Crafter's Companion Website :)

Thanks for popping over
Have a great day

Verity Rose with No Lines...

Sunday! Oh my gosh can you believe this next week sees us into MARCH!!!!!!!
MARCH?!
Is it me or are these weeks whizzing by!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK
So I tried the No lines technique - I think I'm pleased lol, however I do think I need a ickle bit more practise!
I have to cards to share today using this technique on both, I used a fineliner around the eyes, and I do believe I stuck my tongue out for concentration lol. I think these two girlies are my fave from the whole Verity Rose Collection!

First up is the beautiful Starlet
Isn't she just gorgeous. To create the no lines effect, I inked her up and stamped her a couple of times on scrap and then stamped her onto smooth card so you could barely see her - I needed my glasses on! ha

I used the embossing folder and cut away the debossed parts, which I then mounted the remains over my coloured image on my card, I also used some of the Starlet accessory dies and stamps and some Sparkle pens to colour those. The papers are from the collection too

I decided to change her colour palette up and use some of the papers that match Cupcake, they all mix and match so well! the flamingos I stamped and cut using the dies.

Good Morning
Now I know its Simply Betty Saturday on my blog - so I will try and get pics edited and on here today, but I may end up blogging last weeks and this weeks next week HAHA

Sara will be on Create and Craft TV very shortly with the stunning Verity Rose Collection
This really is cracking!
Do tune in from 9am

Today I have an easel card to share

I have used the gorgeous CD rom, the papers, the toppers and one of the dies, I love love the shape of these toppers and they for me sum up the feel of the whole collection - very vintage! I really think Verity rose works well with black cardstock too.
The CD rom is full of goodness all the characters have their own little sets - it really is too cute!

Hope you enjoy the shows! I'll be watching in me pjs :)

You can check out everything Crafter's Companion on the Website
I used stick it on the die card cardstock, and covered it in glitters, the love die I cut in black card and covered in diamond nuvo glitter, I love the way the glitter looks different on each card stock. I used some 3d glue gel to raise them, the papers are from the paper pad.

Sorry to be short and sweet today

I used that stunning heart die again, and linen card, I think this collection works so beautifully with the linen cardstock. I mounted the heart onto kraft card and then mounted that onto an embossed piece of card using one of the new folders, I cut the word dies in contrasting colours to the backgrounds, the ribbon and spotty paper are also from the collection - this paper pad is a complete must have! I adore it :) I think this heart die is amazing I can see it being used on just about everything possible lol

Festive Friday...

 Happy Friday
WHOOOOOOO
WEEKEND
I need this weekend so much!

Today I have another Christmassy make to share
This one uses a fab image from La La Land Crafts
Paper Doll Elf
I quite like Elf images - I have a few and rarely use them - mind you that is the story of my life with Digi images - I really should stop buying them - but its such an addiction lol and a healthy one!
I made a tunnel card, is that what these are called?!
I used the stunning A3 printed snowy card from Crafter's Companion and matted it with some white cardstock. The snowflakes are from Sara Davies Festive wonder range and the circle from the centre of the accordion dies, the sentiment is from the Essentials only words collection.

I used coredinations to cut the greeting from

Exploding Love...

Happy Thursday to you :)
What are you all up to today?
I'll be watching Sara on Create and Craft today from 8am for the NEW LOVE Collection
It really is a beautiful collection
Its been absolutely AGES since I made an exploding box so I thought I'd make one with this collection, the dies and papers are perfect!
I used my Big Score to mark out the box and the lid side to make my lid - super easy and quick! I covered all the panels with black card stock and some patterned paper from the paper pad. The keys and the little padlock are another of the new dies - such a fun additional for lots of card ideas those are. The ribbon is from the gorgeous ribbon embellishment pack which matches this collection.

I used more dies to decorate the inside, hearts and some of the wordings

The very centre I made a mini box with a little tissue paper - I was thinking someone may use this to make the proposal a little extra special :) well that was my thoughts.

Hope you enjoy the shows if you are watching
Until next time

It must be Love, Love, Love...

Hiya Everyone, Happy Wednesday
Hope you are well

I finally managed to get a doctors appointment yesterday, I now have two to cancel, trying to get an appointment with them is awful since they changed their systems. My wrist and hand has been hurting real bad for the past 10 days or so, I thought maybe repititve strain, but it has got worse, I have had issues over the last 18 months or so, but it wasn't until I started to check out symptoms that I wondered if they were connected and maybe it could be Carpal Tunnel - the doc said she agrees , so now I'm splinted up and waiting for Xrays and the Skeletal clinic - not sure if this splint helps or makes it worse! Its my dominant hand so I'm anxious and trying to rest it as much as possible - not easy considering I'm a Mum what crafts! I am completely useless with my left hand, although thats starting with little niggles, so I'm hoping it doesnt give up until this one is sorted. Hey Ho

Sara Davies is launching a Brand new Love range on Thursday at 8am on Create and Craft and this is my fave so far from Sara's ranges - its absolutely beautiful :D
Do check out the peeks on facebook :)
You will be able to find everything Crafter's Companion in the Shop
This is one of the gorgeous new embossing folders. I decided to ink the inside of the folder and put some white card through with it, it came out all wishy washy but I really liked the look, so I worked with it. I used some Aquamarkers, Spectrum Sparkle and Texture spray to splat all over it, the hearts I covered with sparkle pen, because they are water based, the ink I used was water based and the aquatints are, they all kept merging and splodging and I loved how it finished up, I keep the rest of the card simple, the Love wording is from one of the new dies and the little padlock from the gorgeous Charms that go with this collection.

I think this Love die maybe one of my most used this year I think its fab!

and Downton Thursday...

Lol
I didn't realise I had two Downton posts on the trot! Buses spring to mind hehehe

Hope you are all well :D
I am hoping that today I knock out lots of cards! I have spent the past few days colouring - I really am trying to be on track for this year - I know we are only a few days in but fingers crossed I keep it up! I remember years ago being up until 2am most mornings crafting and I never missed deadlines or anything - what happened to me - LOL
I aim to get back to that place but minus the 2am!

Todays card uses some elements from the Downton Abbey Paper Collection - these are just gorgeous! I used kraft card and black card to contrast and some ribbon from my stash, the foiling on these is gold but the camera didn't pick it up well - These do make very lovely quick cards! The die along the top is the Victoriana Edge'able - OH MY GOSH - I adore that one!

Thanks for popping over
Until next time
