Shadow Box Tute...

Hiya Everyone, Hope you are all doing ok :)

I was asked way back before Christmas for a Shadow Box Tutorial, and ack I am just getting around to it, apologies but here it is, in picture format

I have used a pyramage set from the BRAND NEW Teacup Zoo CD ROM
Launching from Kraftyhands on March 10th - You can pre-order yours HERE

It really is a cracking CD, The papers on this one are to die for!
The Team have made some amazing samples do check them out :)
Start with a piece of card 10 inches x 10 inches
Score each side at 1 inch and 2 inches
Cut away all the corners as shown above
Fold the score lines, I always decorate the back with my paper before I assemble
 Glue all the corners
Your box should look like this
I always add a border edge to each flap, you could use ribbon, I cut the border so it has a good overlap, so I can add double sided tape to stick it to the box, after you have done this step, you can glue the flaps down
I do the front panels by eye
I add ribbon to the back like this, I use lots and lots of tape to withstand the weight
Once you have done this you can decorate up as you want
I used this gorgeous pyrampage from the CD Rom and lots of embellies from my stash, all the papers and the sentiment is from the CD
I hope that was easy to understand, one day I will get around to a video tute lol

***Something Special is coming to you from Kraftyhands***
On March 17th *book the date* :) lol
A fabulous NEW Magazine
The magazine contains:
"10 card projects with sketches and finished card illustrations, step by step photo instructions, hints & top tips on featured techniques. Included is an interactive CD-Rom with all printable files for each project in the magazine (and also some variations) with internet links to specially created YouTube video tutorials with Mike & Ian, so you can create each project along with Mike & Ian at the same time from the comfort of your own craft room!"

How fabulous does that sound!!!

Have a FABULOUS Night

Its as if you read my mind! You seem to know a great . Cardsharing Server deal about this, just like you wrote the novel in it or something. I think that one could do by incorporating pics they are driving the message home somewhat, but instead of the, this is great blog. A fantastic read. Ill definitely be back.
