Busy Sunday

But not really with my cards, I have only made 2, but I had to give into the housework, because our darling little cat (was called worse this am) decided to rummage through the bin last night, so I awoke to a kitchen floor covered in rice from yesterdays tea, ciggarette ash, milk bottles, wrappers, you name it! So that needed a good scrub!, ugh ugh ugh. But its done now, I'm not home tomoz either so that will be another slack day.Any ways onto the cards:-

Sketch Saturday

http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ There is another fabulous sketch this week, and gorgeous dt cards. Heres my attempt at it. I coloured the image with promarkers, and mounted it onto some brown cardstock,The backing squares I cut from some papers from the dcwv nanas kids stack. I added buttons and gems on the top, and the greeting is a pb one, I inked round the edge of the greeting and image.I hope you like.

Magnolia meets Stampavie

http://magnoliameetsstampavie.blogspot.com/ This week the challenge is texture, and awesome dt cards!

I used one of my fave tildas and coloured her with promarkers, I matted her onto the oval from the sizzix frame, I ran that through the swiss dots folder for some texture. I mounted that onto a backing from the nanas kids pad which is also textured then ran the blue card through the spots and dots folder. I added some textured ribbon. The greeting is from a hero arts stamp and I covered it in several layers of utee to give another texture to the card.

Thanks for looking have a fabulous week everyone.x

These are great cards Joey. I've a similar problem with my dog, he always comes in with muddy paws and all I seem to have done today is mop the kitchen floor, honestly - worse than kids (lol)

absolutly adorable.... and I feel sorry for you with your cat clean up. They are little monsters sometimes aren't they? mine finds either laundry or blankets and drags them through the house at night. LOL
