New Stamps

So yesterday the postie brought me some new stamps from Spiral Whisper. I had ordered a couple after seeing so many gorgeous cards with them on, and the result for me is that I would like more! They stamp so cleanly-which is a must for me!.
So I stamped them out and coloured a few last night, I have only made one card so far. I coloured the image with aqua pencils, and used my kitchen roll (another crafty essential) to blot away at areas I didnt want to much colour on. I rather like him, he even got the seal of approval from my hubby too, who doesnt usually comment on stamps, but he said "hes so clean looking", lol.

The main backing paper is from a k&co pad, I used some pale yellow and aqua cardstock, I run the yellow through the swiss dots folder and I used a sizzix frame to make the scallops. The wording is from a sizzlitts alphabet set,I used some flowers the blue ones are prima, the yellow ones are some I got from the 99p shop but I love them. I added a few pearls to the scallops and a bit of ribbon (another essential). I wanted to add some depth to the card so I stuck both the wording and image down with 3d foam pads. I am trying to look at stamps for little boys and men lately as I struggle so much with these cards.
