Happy Sunday
Hope you are all having a GREAT Day whatever you are up to, mine is the usual, tidy round, ironing uniforms, baths, hair washes lol and my fave BEEF casserole for tea :)
Tomorrow sees Sara Davies launch the stunning Downton Abbey Collection over on Create and Craft - do tune in, its gonna be amazing :)
Today I have another couple of cards to share
One for Him and One for Her
:)
As soon as I saw these medals in the Toppers section of the cd rom I knew what I wanted to do with them :) I printed them 3 times and cut them. I mounted them to my card using 3d collall glue. I cut my card blank from centura pearl and used some centura pearl with the Downton Damask embossing folder, I constructed that to look like a shirt, then overlaid it with some black card to create a suit. Really simple but really effective :)
I used the Feather Brooch die to give a little accent to the pocket, and the sentiment I printed from the cd rom
I added a few buttons and decorated the inside using sentiments and papers from the CD rom
I then decided to make a ladies version :) similiar but different
I made my base from centura pearl and covered it with some papers from the CD rom. I saw this FOLD on Pinterest and it amazed me (THANKYOU - to whoever created it - I love it) - another perfect fit for Downton Abbey
I used the Downton Abbey Leaf Flourish folder and rubed over some gold gliding wax to highlight it
I love the dimension to it :)
I used the Downton Abbey - Antique Frame, Ribbon Broch and Elegant Border dies
DO check out the facebook pages for sneek peeks :)
Until next time
