Downton Abbey...

Happy Friday :)

Oh yeeeeeee Oh yayyyyy Downton Abbey is on its way!!!

Launching over on ITV on Sunday and then you get another gorgeous dose on Monday with Sara Davies on Create and Craft as she launches the stunning Papercraft Collection.
Whether you are a HUGE fan or not - you will absolutely adore this collection! I have never watched an episode - but I surely did fall in love with this :)
You honestly have to see the papers on these cd roms and your jaw will drop they are cracking! the dies and embossing folders are so elegant :) It is most defintely a collection I will be using over and over again :)

I have been looking a lot on pinterest and I saw some Bow Cards - I found where they originated and brought myself a template :)
Now I don't own a super duper cut it out for me machine, so I did it the old fashioned way of print and cut lol, it works an absolute treat and is one of the easiet templates I have ever followed! You need to email Sandra the number of the templates you would like, then Sandra will send you a paypal request, once paid - Sandra will email the template over - not sure how it works for machines - Thankyou Sandra
You will find it HERE in Sandra's SHOP with loads more other gorgeous templates!

For all things Crafter's Companion do check out the lovely SHOP HERE

So I thought The Downton Abbey Collection was PERFECT for this style of card :)

I cut all the template pieces out on my black centura pearl (omgosh I am in love with it) and then the smaller templates on patterned paper I printed out from the cd rom, the centre piece is one of the toppers from the cd rom, which has been cut down by the die. I edged all pieces with some glitter :)
The dies from the Downton Abbey collection I used are - Half Doily (at the top), Chandelier (on its side) and the stunning Ornate Mirror. A few embellies from my stash and my trusty collall glues :)
A side view - you can just see the candles from the top of the chandelier hiding behind the bow

I made a duplicate using a different colourway in the same papers from the CD rom

I don't think I will ever tire of making this style of card, it looks so effective :)

The same but different lol

Hope you all have a loverly evening - I hope to get some colouring done :)
Until next time
Jo

Absolutely jaw-droppingly WOW! Totally stunning shaped design and I have wondered how easy this would be to cut by hand so it's nice to know it's possible...maybe I'll have a go!
The papers are so gorgeous too!

Big hugs, Kat xx
