Money/Voucher Wallet Tute...

Hiya Everyone,Hope you are all doing ok :)

I have been asked for a few tutorials on some of the things I have been making, so this is the first, A Shadow Box tute will come later in the week :)

This is a PICTURE HEAVY Post
and a littleish tute on how I make my Money/Voucher Gift Wallets

First you will need
1 Piece of Cardboard/Chipboard/Hardboard measuring 2 1/2 inches by 5 1/4 inches
1 Strip of Coloured card measuring 2 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches
You then need to take the long strip and score it at 4 inches and 4 1/4 inches
Then fold these score lines - set aside
Then add your adhesive to one side of the Cardboard, and add your ribbon, this is the hangy part, make sure to add adhesive to the top of the ribbon too
The strip you put aside, stick to the cardboard
This is how it should now look
Next you need 3 strips, I measured these for this tute, but usually I just gage by eye and cut mine
1 strip at 2 1/4 inches by 5 inches
2 strips at 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches
Add your choice of patterned paper to these
Take the largest strip turn it over and add adhesive, then take your ribbon and stick part of it to the back, wrap it around the front, make sure not to use any adhesive on the front, and bring it back round so it sticks on the back of the strip again (see next pic under this one)
 It should look like this
Remember to add adhesive over the top of the ribbon, then stick it to the inside of your wallet
Next take one of the smaller strips and add a little matted box, this is where someone may write
Add it to the inside of your wallet, the reason you put it with the sentiment facing you, is when it opens it is still facing you, not upside down
I then take a glue pen and go around the edges of all the card so I can sprinkle some glitter for sparkles
 Thats your inside done :)
Take the last strip and add it to the outside
You now need a die cut shape, I use circles as I find them easier, but I guess it doesnt matter which you choose
I add adhesive to half the circle and a little circle velcro at the top
You stick this to the outside strip, so the half with the adhesive sits on the strip and the velcro dot sits on the inside of your wallet like below
Now its the fun bit, time to decorate up
I used the beautiful Poinsettia from Digital Delights, I coloured it up with copics and added pearls to the centre, I layered it up using 3d foam pads, the pearls and ribbon from my stash, sentiments done on comp.
 Finished :)
I hope this was useful and understandable for you, I know I ramble on lol

Thanks for Popping by, and be sure to pop back with a link to your makes if you use this tute
