Twisted Easel Card Tutorial

Hiya Everyone, back again. I was asked in the week how I do my twisted easel cards, so I have taken a few piccys and hope that it shows how I do it, I am kinda useless at explaining things simply lol.

I made this card for my Mother in Law whose Birthday is today, the minute I saw these Owls I knew I had to have them, how adorable are they!!! I have always liked owls, but the older I get the more it seems a little obsession, I dare not look at things with owls on as I know I am going to want! is that sad?! rofl.
Anyways...
I followed the sketch for the top part of the easel from the A Gem of A Challenge and the Owl is from Pink Gem Designs so I shall enter it in over there :) I got another few cuties whilst I was in the store too, hopeless I am lol.
The papers are from my stash, the mum I cut on my cricut and layered it on a nestie. I added card candy to the flower centres, the other flowers are from wild orchid. I coloured the owl with copics.

I am also entering this into the Cutie Pie Challenge - Flower Power

I hope the writing is readable!
(but under each pic I will write it again)
I start with 2 card blanks the same size

I cut one of the card blanks in half

I have only drawn the line so you can see where I score, so its a straight diagonal corner to corner

I then fold my card blank, so it will look like this

You then fold the triangle back on itself

This piece of the triangle is where you add the glue

You then add the half card blank to the triangle, you must stand your image the correct way up otherwise it will look very wrong lol, you must also place a stopper as you would a standard easel card.

I hope thats explained it and that I havent forgotton some crucial bit of info lol, most of all I hope its helped someone who may not have known how before now :)

Thanks for Stopping By Today x x x
