Digital Delights Thursday

Hiya Everyone, Happy Thursday to you all, I hope you are well. My Ella is still a little poorly its taking its time, I think she has passed it on to me now, my throat feels like its full of razor blades ugh, but rather me have it than her, whatever bug it is its dragging on, love her I hate to see her down in the dumps. Why do we always seem to be ill :( I think my kiddos are the ones that will pick up whatever it is going around every time.

We had an appt with Nialls Teachers and the recommendation is now that his needs cant be met in mainstream so we have to look at special schools. I am ok with this, if thats what he needs thats what I have to fight for. Sadly its not plain sailing and everything is a fight to get my Son what he needs, I have sort of mentioned this subject to him heres how our conversation went

Me: "Son, you know I said about you going to a new school"
Niall: "but my like my school"
Me: "but you need extra help"
Niall: "my have Mrs.Carrington"
Me: "yes, but you need extra help"
Niall: "people in  my class help"
Me: "yes Son, but you need some extra help with maths and writing"
Niall: "my have help"
Me: " yes, but not enough, you need to help yourself too"
Niall: " OK, my help myself to something to eat"
hmmmmmmmmmm
think this may take a while!!!

Anyways....

Hope you're feeling better soon Joey. My son is poorly too but struggling in to school as he's doing AS's and he's only got 2 days left before half term. And yep even at 16 they like to share their germs - my head is pounding as I type.
Love the baby card by the way.
Hugs

Gorgeous card sweetie loving the cutie image.
Good luck on your fight shug I really mean that, my daughter is nearly 20 & we still have to fight all the time......tbh we gave up years ago & now just manage ourselves. I did however fight to get her into the school I wanted, I ended up keeping her off for 6 months & meeting up with an appeal team all the way from London but we won in the end & she got to go to the school that was best for her. A lot of time, well most of time it comes down to damn funding but stand firm hun & only do what you think is best, no one knows whats better for your son than you.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
