Nappy Nappy Nappies

Hiya Everyone, Hope you have all had a fab weekend, one more day then the kiddos go back to school, much running around to do tomoz! Had a loverly roast today, first one in ages! thought I could stomach the Beef, that used to be my favourite, until Ellas pregnancy and I havent been able to eat it since, sigh, so had pork instead lol, was yummy!

Anyways, I am here today just to show the Nappy Cake I made for my Sisters Baby Shower which was on Friday, havent shouted about it before, but I am Having A Nephew! lol roll on October! It was the first Baby Shower I have ever been too lol, was a loverly evening. We have brought her pressies for baby already, but I wanted something a little novelty like so made the cake, making it is the easy part, I found wrapping it with the blankets and muslin cloths the hardest grrrrrrr!

So I started with a bag of Huggies Newborn Size 2 Nappies

 and a bottle of talc :) and loadsa rubber bands, couldnt get clear or white, good job it was to be covered!

 and just place the nappies round and round until the tiers and shape was made, the base was made from cardboard I cut around a dinner plate and covered it with card, then added some card candy.

 and this is what it looked like when finished!

I was chuffed with myself as this is the first one I have done, now all I need is one of my loverly sister in laws to have a baby and I can make another :)

My mum asked me to make her a scrapbook, so I said ok, my mum dropped it off to me Wednesday, it had to be ready by Friday, arghhhhhh! I made my deadline after some loooooong hours! but it was worth, top tip - NEVER AGAIN, I need at least a month! lol.

So thats why my comments have been bad this week! lol
