Happy Birthday WOYWW

Hello Woyww'ers Happy Birthday :O) whooooooo I have only been taking part for a few weeks really but already love Wednesdays for this reason alone!!! Hop over to Julias Blog the leader of all this Wednesday Loving! lol. So my desk this week is hmmmmm not tidy but not a complete mess lol.

My ribbons are in a state, the cards stacked are DT cards I was working on yesterday, the stuff to the left is for a another DT card and thats about it for me this week lol. Maybe next week will have a stack of stuff to rummage lol. BUT as it is week 52 I have made an anniversary piece and I was so chuffed as I knew I would be heating acrylic paints for it!!! yay I love to watch the paint bubble under the heatgun. I remembered I had brought some canvases so I slopped paint all over it, heated it, sprinkled a little glitter, the WOYWW letters are a little lost but I can see them in real life lol, I havent had a chance to put it up yet,my heatgun I havent used for wow as long as I can remember and it made a very funny not funny haha but funny oooooh noise eeeeek.

One Great Big Happy Mess! and thats what I like best! Slopping a bit of paint everywhere but I like to keep my cards super clean.

The piccy isnt too great but I was hoping for a very textured piece which it is, but the glare from the light off the metallic paint aint nice on camera lol.

Happy Birthday to you

Thanks for stopping by :O) I shall try to get around to you all but cant promise.xxx

great piece, love the textures. acrylics are great fun to mess around with. My heat gun has been making odd noises for a few months and finally died the other week, not bad considering I have had it about 12 years.

Your ribbons can only be considered a mess if you aren't comparing. Really! Your canvas is fab - great minds and different directions eh!! Lovely colourings..hope you'll find a space for it where it will inspire you.

This is perfect for your WOYWWAC! I like the symbolism behind this piece. I can see the letters just fine, as well as all the texture and goodies you added to the piece. It sure made me laugh, Joey. Happy WOYWW.
