Mo Manning Challenge - Clean N Simple

Hi everyone I am back again :O) lol, this time with a card for the Mo Manning Challenge, the theme this week is Clean N Simple, I think you have to hop over to the blog to see the DT creations, I do love Clean N Simple, you can use white or cream cardstock, a Mo image of course and one ribbon, the temptation to add to my card is still calling me now but I wont!!! lol
This is the first time I have printed directly onto card so it took me 5,000 attempts thats an exaggaration maybe more like 15 lol! but I love it!
Thanks for Looking :O)
NOW THIS ISNT FUNNY!!!
But if I dont laugh I shall CRY :O( I very first brought this Mo image as well from the following piccys you can see why! My Niall thinks he is Michaelangelo, poor Syd has to live with looking at this on practically every surface in her bedroom, scrubbing it doesnt work, I think as soon as little Ella arrives we shall be doing a spot of decorating in there, the first piccy is of his wall just above his bed, he has been told not to draw on the walls, so he took to drawing all over the wardrobe!
Can you see his headphones???
Here he was drawing Sydney with a sad face and he even attempted to spell her name, I must admit this one did make me smirk!
As for this one I dread to think!!!
As you can tell I will be a busy busy bee once our baby arrives, its just not funny is it lol. I really dont know how to prevent him from drawing all over the walls, taking his pens away would make things a lot worse for him, I think maybe a picture rail halfway on the wall and give him free reign on that one wall alone.
Lol I just thought I would share his artwork with you lol.
Thanks for stopping by again! Have a fab evening.xxx

Absolutely love your card Joey! And ermmm...quite liking Niall's artwork too...just not there!!! lol
How about fixing a rail to a wall (towel rail or similar) with a roll of wallpaper and he can draw for til his heart's content! ^.^

I love your card, it really shows the image off well. My little boy took to drawing on the wall but he is only 20months so we can't really get mad. We bought him an art easel for christmas and fingers crossed no artwork on the walls (yet. . .). I love the pic where he has written ur daughters name, it takes me back to when I was little and my brother drew on the wall and wrote "drawn by Becky" underneath it !!

Your card is beautifully coloured and looks great. Niall's work is also wonderful, just a pity its not on paper. I'm sure he will soon learn. A large drawing board on the wall sounds a good idea. Elaine

I love your card hun beautifully done great colourwork. I also love Nialls expressionism very artistic and nothing a bit of paint won't hide in the future. You could get a whiteboard on the wall so he can wipe away what he has done to do some more, maybe x Lets hope they move you and he can have his own room to decorate. Big hugs Pascale

I can see the artistic nature in all your family and you should never try to prevent it (shocking it may be when first seeing it)I would go with the provide a large white area for his creativity too. Your card is fab, I do not think I would have been able to stop with just the ribbon..... (possibly not the challenge for me :( )
take care

Hiya hunni
We went through a little spell of that too. His bed, the carpet and the wall's lol.
Just a little idea for you.
You can buy blackboard paint ( you'll get in in places like B&Q)How about painting a pannel of blackboard paint onto one of the wall's and giving him a set of chalks. That way he's still got somewhere to create and you can just wipe it over when it's full ready for him to start again.
Good luck with that
(((hugs)))

Joey this is just lovely, perfectly put together, just love the plain and simple feel of it. You'd better not let Niall near it, lots of white space there for him lol.

OMG you poor thing, what a clean up!

You'll laugh about this someday, and provide meat-market sheets of paper in the future, that's what my mom did for my brother!

The card is GREAT by the way!

OMG Joey, I think Mo must have drawn that image especially for you!!!! You must have been mortified at what you found, it's funny when you look back but not at the time!!!
Your card is wonderful..... I know it's hard not to add more but it totally works like this, the image is the star of the show!

Such a darling card!

Have you tried the Crayola Color Wonder? The markers only work on special paper. Obviously you'd have to buy a ton of the paper, but it wouldn't get all over the walls.

omg he is a little artist. have you thought about giving him a massive flip board and hanging wallpaper from it.

What a CUTE image, doesnt he look to cute and innocent to punish or be mad at. My oldest son use to write his name on many surfaces, his bed, the walls the dresser, he even carved it in my bed.

Joey, What a wonderful card using Mo's little Artist. Sounds like you have a budding artist as well. You should paint chalk board paint on one wall so he can draw and erase as desired.
Love you card and enjoyed your pix and story. Thanks for playing the Mo Challenge !!!!

Hi, Joey,
Just amszing love your card. Your colouring is fantastic. I've got a few drawings on my walls too from my grandaughter, and marks with a chalk eye pad that she ran off with.

Oh eck Joey, must be a boy thing. I remember when Daniel was about 3, we had just redocorated the dining room and put up a border. Well, he decided to crayon the flowers and peel parts of the border off!!! I know you can get a blackboard paint from DIY stores, maybe he could have a section in his room to practice his Picasso!! Good luck anyway....

Another fabby card chuck. Your little pics brought back memories - my six year old was the same, he drew on every wall in the house including the downstairs and have only just started redecorating now he's grown out of it - touch wood!!
