Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well, Wow where did that snow come from got to say I wasnt expecting that this morning when I woke up lol! Our school is quite far so we couldnt get there but they were closing at lunchtime today, we shall see what tomoz brings if it is ok to drive! I hope so as we have a appt at the school which we dont want cancelled!.
Mart and Me had the day from Hell yesterday I wont go into the details but we encountered a very violent and nasty man, and I am so thankful we have come away from it unscathed if thats the right word, some people really have no respect for anybody else these days.I did have a good sob about it all several times yesterday but I am ok after half a good nights sleep.
On my last post I said I hope to not have to have any more bloods taken well guess what!!! I have to have more, and to add to that I have to have B12 jabs every 2-3 days for what feels like an eternity to me, oh my gosh argh! had my first one this morning and hopefully with all the pills I now have to take and these jabs I will start to feel good again, and baby will get all she needs, my gosh I am so not an advert for pregnancy just now!, Please keep baby and me in your thoughts and prayers :O)

Anyways lol I am sure you wanted to see a card not hear me ramble on, so here is one I have made for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week they have another fantastic theme and as always very inspirational reading over on the blog! Pop Over and see... This week the challenge is to make the Broken look Beautiful, A Great Theme!!!
******Sorry about pic quality******

I used the cracked glass method, so out came the utee I love this effect but dont use it so much anymore! the above piccy is it at a diff angle as I cant get the light right argh, roll on summer for the light! lol.

I used papers from Basic Grey and the image and sentiment is from The Greeting Farm, I added a few pearls.

Thanks for stopping by and looking have a great evening.xxx

Oh Joey, I always think that some people do not consider others and therefore to not deserve our respect. I hope that this encounter has not stopped you now or in the future doing something that you want to do. They say that when you have a trouble pregnancy ( I did lots of iron (painful) injections for three months) that the baby will be extra special to you, mine is.....and he is 21 now. Love the card and the broken glass effect
take care hun

Nasty man - his turn will come. Hope you're ok and I sympathise with the jabs too I have to have jabs 3 times a week every week and it's a blooming nightmare, hate them, hate needles, hate Mark when it's jab time! You get the drift lol. You'll be fine just don't worry and it'll be worth it in the end.

Love the card and I think you ought to do what it says and have a little pamper yourself.

Love Lynda xxx

AWE Joey, I am so sorry that you have been upset, some people are just plain nasty, but don't fret my darling, they are not worth worrying about.....as for injections, I can sympathise, I hate needles, but have an underactive thyroid for 16 years which means I need to go every 3 months, which I loath, but I say, I have 6 cats and they scratch me from time to time, and that is actually sorer.....hope this helps......and remember you get a beautiful baby at the end.....I just get more tablets, which make me rattle more......I love your card, that Image is so sweet and I can think off a few off my relatives that that would fit nicley with......love the colour ways too...be brave.....I will lend you a cat for a couple of weeks, LOL. Hugs Avril xxxxx

Hi Joey, sorry to hear about your experience with the nasty person, you are right, there seems to be more and more horrid people about these days. Sounds like your going through the mill a bit at the moment - hope things improve soon for you and the little one.

I really like the crackled look on your card. I have tried this technique a long time ago. It's good have a reminder about these things now and again to give it another go. Take care. x
