Simon Says Stamp - Inspired by Tim Holtz ***edited the piccy***

Good Evening everyone, or Good Morning depending on when you read this lol. Apologies for the piccys in advance My camera is playing silly wotsits with the glare, and I just cant reduce it, daylight piccys are looking awful, and well night time ones are just that night time lol. I seem to have swallowed a busy pill today and tried to catch up on a little Dt work :O)

I have made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge, late again this week lol, one week I promise I will make it early, well I promised that last week too they have an awesome theme this week which is "Inspired by or use Tim Holtz products". When I first think of Tim Holtz I think of Nicks lol, then Distressing, then Messy fingernails, Tim Holtz work is genuis so many clever ideas and designs and great products to work with, so I dusted off those alcohol inks and distress inks and had a little play, and guess what the prize is a piece of Tim Holtz work so kindly donated by Hallie :O)I recieved this gorgeous image in a swap, and coloured her with promarkers and copic ciaos. I then sponged around the edge with some brown ink and matted her. The swirl is Maya Road, and I coated this with a mix of pink and purple acrylic paint. The Paper is by Donna at Bearly Mine Crafts, and I distressed the edges with the middle of my scissors as I dont have a special tool. Once I had stuck it all down to the card I got a bit distress happy and used a distress ink to rub over the whole card, I think it was Antique Linen, I then used a gold alcohol ink and sort of just went random with it again all over the card, the brads I used random and the flowers I rubbed the gold alcohol ink over. The stamps are stamped very faintly and again randomly over the card. This is to be my daughters card for her daddy for fathers day.In the heart I stamped Dad over and over, you can see the swirl and flowers a little closer.

Thanks for stopping by and looking.xxx
