How I use my Promarkers- Loadsa Pictures!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine :O) its a glorious day here. I am feeling more human again yay, still snotty and have that froggie in my throat, but my heavy head has lifted thankfully, so all is getting better in the land of Joey again :O) thankyou all for your kind wishes.x

I have had many emails and comments asking me for tips on how I use my promarkers, and I always try to answer but am so long winded sometimes I confuse myself lol, so I have tried to put together how I use them in pictures. Everyone uses products differently and I am not a pro but thought this may help a few people I hope it does :O) if it doesnt well it kept me busy lol
This first picture is what I used, I use a laser jet paper to stamp my images onto, the promarker glides across it lovely, yes sometimes it does bleed, but thats nothing a blender pen wont take out, and its ok if your cutting the image out, not professional but it works for me lol. I use Memento Tuxedo Black to stamp all images I use promarkers with
The first thing I usually do is add in the cheeks and darker areas, I used Dusky Pink for this
I then go over the whole area with Blush, I follow this same step for all the skin
For the hair I used three colours, spice, cinnamon and cocoa, this is by far my most fave combo to use on hair as the colours work so well together, the first step I do is scribble the spice roughly over the hair
Then I go in with the cinnamon and fill all the white space
I then take the cocoa and touch on where I want a few darker areas
Then I go over the whole lot again with spice
I put down a first layer of Pastel Pink, I tend to go harder around the edges then just scribble in over the white space, it doesnt look like scribbling by in my land it is lol
While the Pastel Pink is drying I add the meadow green
Then I go over the areas I want shaded with Pastel Pink again, I then blend over the whole lot with the Pastel Pink
I touch up areas on the meadow green with the lime green, then use the meadow green to go over the whole lot. As you can see I have gone over many edges but I am cutting her out so thats cool with me, If I wasnt cutting her out I would have used the blender pen over these overlaps as they happened
I use an inkssentials opaque white pen to add a few highlights, I am useless at guessing where the light comes in so I am random and just add it where I want too lol, and my little Gorjuss Girl is finished, I cut her out

and heres the card I made using her, very very minimal!!!
I used some pearls, the papers are Basic Grey Porcelain and the sentiment hero arts.

I think I have remembered everything lol. Thanks for stopping by and looking.xxx

I have been thinking about copics for ages but wondering how to use them and if I would be happy with them as I watercolours for everything! I'm guessing that Copics are just another brand of the same sort of thing?

glad you are starting to feel better, its horrible feeling ill on such hot days

sending hugs
