Friday Sketchers

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend :O) Its a lovely day here, although I juat had to put my dressing gown on I have come over all cold. I had an email about one of the kittys and my heart sunk :O( I guess the realisation that they will be going is one I didnt face properly so we will be saying goodbye to one of these beauties in June when the time with their mum is finished and all the essentials done.

So with that we made a desicion on the kitty we would be keeping and well we chose two to keep I just couldnt help myself :O) so I would like to introduce you to

DUDE

Formerly known as number 3. My son calls his Dad best friend Dude so we took the Dude part from that, isnt he just a cutie, I say he, haha, my hubby is now convinced mini-max is indeed mini-maxine haha and I would also like to introduce you to our other little cutie unnamed as yet so suggestions welcome :O) but she would be formerly number 1.

We believe that she maybe a girl, she has tufts of ginger, but not enough to be called Ginger, and she is the most responsive when I walk in the room and talk, she is also a little minx forever trying to get out of the box, she looks sad in this piccy lol I'll have to get her to pose for another another day :O)

On to the challenge there is a wonderful sketch to follow over on the Friday Sketchers blog and although it is a tall sketch I have adapted it to fit a sqaure card, so once again lol If it cant be counted no worries, I am not a huge fan of those tall cards

Gorgeous Miss Anya have you seen the new set oh my gosh I am in heaven well I will be when they are released fingers crossed I can get a set :O) Coloured with promarkers and copic ciaos and cut using the sizzix scallop frame. I used some K&Co paper and the greeting cut from the bottom of a ff stamp. The swirls are from a sizzlitt die and a few embellies.

Awww Last night we watched the two most amazing editions of extreme makeover the home edition. I am addicted to that programme, and we have watched so many of them over the last few years, this season is all about hero's. I have it on series record so we had quite a few there to watch. The first we watched was about a family with the most lovely little boy who had disablities that could kill him if he fell off a step he couldnt do anything himself because of his dwarfism,not sure on that spelling, so they brought everything down to his level, the happiness and joy this little man radiated was so warming :O)

The second one has me in tears before they had even met the family, they had lost the father and eldest son shortly after their home had burnt down, well the mum and children left behind were consumed with grief, and they had this one little man who made my heart melt to look at him,I have never sobbed so much at one programme as I did last night.

Why am I telling you about these I am not sure but both of these episodes really touched me and the work that the crew do to make the lives of these people better is nothing short of a miracle they are truly wonderful people :O) a few more like them and the world would become an amazing place
