Papertake Weekly

Hi everyone, hope you are all well today, I had the washing machine repair guy just come and my washing machine is so poorly, I am not coping well without it at all! he says they will make a desicion on it tomoz whether we get a new one or it is to be fixed, I cant believe all thats gone wrong with it, I have only had it for 14 months grrr off to mil with another green black bag load of washing. Bless her for helping us, but I do like to do me own washing I funny like that.

I have made this card for the fabulous sketch from Dawny over on The Papertake Weekly Challenge
I kept it fairly simple really, and the only embellie I used was the ribbon, I like it for its simplicity. The image is one of my faves from High Hopes, coloured with promarkers and a little glamour dust in the water
The sentiment is Penny Black, and the paper Stampin Up
Thanks for looking.x

Do you have anyone in your calendar that every single card you have to make for them you struggle with, well I do that person is my Dad, my gosh I dont think I ever think harder about a card than when its for him, well this one I am about to show you is attempt number 2! and I am not sure whether there will be a 3rd one, the 1st one I made is absolutely hideous and now lives in the recycle pile, its my Dads 50th on sunday and I have yet to add a 50 onto this card but here it is:-

I am not sure if its growing on me, or what, but shall wait and see, no doubt another card will be made, and I will end up using this anyway lol

Thanks for stopping by.xxx

Oh Joey, I don't know one person that likes to do men cards. They all seem to be so difficult somehow, and when you are under pressure to do a special one you can forget it. I like what you have done here though, as I scrolled down for the reveal I said Ooh, that's nice. So no recycling this one please.

I'm pleased you liked my card, by the way.
