Warning - Long Post!!!!! lol

If you read my waffle lol I hope you have a cuppa ready!. Wow what a busy couple of days!, I have had no time to craft except for tonight and after just finishing I am now uploading to my blog at 1.20am Hmmmmmm, Seems the night owl is well and truly awake, well only just!. Please scroll down for the challenges.x

Firstly I have been given the wylde women award again, this time from Michele, Thanks muchly Michele. I always struggle with thankyous, as stupid as it sounds thankyou never seems to sound enough, but I am truly touched that people like my little blog and take the time to comment and come visit. I had no idea the blogging world would become a bit of an obsession, and I never ever thought I'd recieve awards when I first started it! Check out Micheles blog here:- http://shelleyspapercraftingparadise.blogspot.com/ The rules of this award can be found under the awards label on the left hand side, and this time I am giving it to all you bloggers who havent ever recieved an award for you blog, they are all fantastic!.

So onto the challenges:-

Cute Card Thursday

http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ the challenge is CHEERS and can involve any sort of drink, as my wonderful friend Sue got me some forever friends stamps for my birthday it was only right I used one! lol. I coloured the bear with my promarkers (yay I got some and need much practise!), I used some star paper from the ff pad and the aqua from a basic grey pad, a bit of ribbon and some primas. Fab cards on the blog again this week!

Friday Sketchers

http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ this week the sketch is so different but I really really like this sketch!. I used a tilda and coloured her with a mix of promarkers and whispers pens, I added a little stickles to the sunflower and her hair, I added pearls to the frame, a large flower and lashings of bright orange lol the papers are basic grey. I likes it, it cheers up this wet cold weather!

Sketch Saturday

http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ this week there is an amazing sketch from Coco, wow I adore it! I followed the sketch then realised as I glanced back at my notepad that it said Autumn ARRRRRGH, so I did a little punching of some leaves and added some words, I think the image suits it ok (thankyou muchly Lesley), the colours are not tradional autumn colours but I think it works. The image I coloured with promarkers and I used a nestie on it, I have never done this apart from the card above, but I really like it, Its like zooming in lol. The words are sizzlitt first steps, and I added a few dots of stickles.

Secret Crafter

http://thesecretcraftersaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ There is a sketch to follow from Jill this week and there are some fabulous cards using it!. I used nesties on this one and again the same as above only part of an image. I coloured it with promarkers and added a little stickles to it, The bright paper is a basic grey one they need to do a book just of this paper as I adore it!.

OOOPS I cant use this card as I didnt read! duh! it has to be brown white and pink lol that will teach me just to jot down a sketch hehe.!!!

You still with me? lol

Wow thats my challenges all done, still a few I have missed if i get any time tomoz, I have to go shopping ugh, and I have no clothes left in any wardrobes in the house as they are all stacked high in my ironing pile so that needs tackling Hmmmmm not happy about that but thats what being lazy does lol. I went out with my mum friday for my birthday and my mum and nan brought me a lovely coat, I have been desperate for a new one and this one is long, padded, and WARM!!! yay, my other coat didnt keep me warm or dry so I am chuffed as nuts with it and I got a hat yippee no more freezing cold ears.

Its the last f1 race of the season today and every time I think about it my belly does a turn, I am so excited, so hopeful Lewis Hamilton gets the championship, so anxious as anything can happen in f1, so dissapointed its the last race of the season and the last one on itv they do such a fab job I hope the bbc can live up to it!!!

eeeek my internet just decided to disconnect stooopid thing!. I am off to my friend Sues this week I am so excited so I must make sure all is done and dusted before I go on Wednesday, yippee it will be great to spend some time with Sue.

And Finally A QUESTION???????

Promarkers what ink do I used to stamp with, as my beloved stazon does not really like these pens and I am not sure what other ink of quality to use any ideas? thanks. Nighty Night.xxx

Wow, I wish I could get so much work done on one night! They are all gorgeous, especially love the one with the giant flower, very pretty! And as for the Autumn option Coco gave.... I had exactly the same reaction after finishing the card... oops Autumn :). But then I figured it was just an option so no harm done. I do think Coco will appreciate your extra trouble though :). Thank you for joining us at Sketch Saturday this week!!

I can't answer your question as I've only used water-colour pencils so far. Is there something called prisma-markers??? SOmehting like that. They are sold for artists who like Japanese cartooning (manga???) ooo you can tell I'm not with it! LOL!

Anyway I have a birthday next Saturday and have dropped so many hints around my other half I'm surprised he isn't tripping over them- I might get some new crafty stash!!! YIPPEE!!!

I love your cards. ANd I love the papers you used the the Sketch Saturday challenge. Really gentle and yummy. Like fairy cakes:)

Hi

Memento ink is a good one but I'm having trouble finding a full size one (not a dewdrop) in the UK online at the moment.
Gorgeous cards all of them!

Great cards!
Have never used Pro markers but sometimes if I'm colouring and want to use other ink I use Versafine and emboss with clear powder and colour until my hearts content!

Hey Joey, belated happy birthday hunni, didn't realise it was your birthday, I would have sent you a card. I love all your cards they are fab and I am so jealous that you have the nesties, I want them too!!! In regards to your stazon question hunni, someone asked this on DC last week, my memory being what it is I can't remember what the answer was :0( but I am sure you will be able to find it or re-ask on there. Hope this helps, Babz :0)
