One Card 2 Challenges and my usual rambles lol

(****Please scroll down for the challenge****)

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your thursday, YAY its nearly friday I seem to have had a right lazy week this week, looking forward to the weekend for some unknown reason lol. For any of you who were reading about my maracas, well they aint coming now! hubbie cancelled the order and is going to buy it instead from a shop, they are only shipping new release games, how stooopid is that!. On a plus note the correct inkpad to use with promarkers arrived this am yippee I can practise properly now with no smudges! (fingers crossed).
I have got back to doing those crimbo cards again and to try and finish my hamper cards, this card is one I made late last night, and oh my gosh I simply ADORE this stamp! and oh my gosh I simply ADORE these basic grey Wassail papers WHY did I not get them sooner, I actually really like this card, When I make my cards I like bits of this or bits of that, rare that I love a card I make but this is one. Its simple and I am not sure what it is I love, I ordered some more 3d foam pads as I was out of them, well dozy me I didnt pick the correct thickness so ended up with the ultra thin ones, which I used to stick santa down and it was then I realised actually I like this better than the thick ones, a slight raise, looking for something else and found some more great stuff. I coloured santa with promarkers and added a little glamour dust to his beard and the inside of the sack.
I have just sat an eaten the puffiest coconut cheesecake ooooh yum! hubbie brought it for me earlier, hmmmm I am not sure if eating too many goodies is going to combat my fit exercise lol, or its just my hubbies ploy to try and beat my high scores! lol.

Spoonful of Sugar and One Stop Craft Challenges

So now I can join the spoonful of sugar challenge yippee, one because I got some sugar nellies, but two because you can now use any stamps yippee, I do love the cards on that blog, and what everyone else creates. This week the theme is "Blooming Marvellous" and to use flowers or floral paper on your cards. The theme over on One Stop Craft is "Pretty Petals" so I combined the two hope thats ok.

The image is Alota country girl-flowers, I coloured her with promarkers and the lightest pink is a whispers pen. I mounted her on to the oval from the sizzix frame, and then onto some paper from the basic grey sugared pad, I rounded the corners off. I used just a few primas lol, and added yellow pearls to the middles, and around the edge of the oval. The patterned paper has a little floral design on it, so I think it fits both challenges well with all the flower elements. I hope you like. Thanks for looking. http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/
