Basic Grey Challenge

Hello everyone, I am slightly happier this evening, all but one of my deliverys have arrived Yippee! new stamps new stamps! so I shall be playing tonight. The maracas is another story another game was released last week and they are making that a priority in who they send out to, needless to say hubby has gone off on one at them and I am about to listen to him having phonecall number 2 eeek!.
I have made a few changes to my blog, the background being the most obvious, still not convinced by it, but dont want to keep chopping and changing it! I added all the blogs I follow to my blog list only because I forget to "follow" them with them being on the dashboard, hope nobody minds.

Basic Grey Challenge

I was blog hopping this morning, and I have never taken part in the basic grey challenge as I always thought you had to use 100% basic grey which I dont have, but I do have papers and was chuffed to see as long as there is basic grey on your card you can do the challenge yippee! So this week its "One for the Boys", mine is a male card but dont think it qualifies for a man, more so a boy. Anyways, using one of my new stamps, high hopes time well spent, I adore this stamp there is something about it that really draws me to it. So I hope you like:-
I had great fun making this card I think I always do when its a new stamp lol. The image I coloured with twinks, using colours:- orange peel, pink cloud, stam white, bashful blue, china black,autumn skies, almond beige and cinnamon brown. The letters are sizzlitts first steps, I used some plain black cardstock and the orange colour is from a dcwv stack.I added some gems, buttons a bit of ribbon and some brads from my stash. The Basic Grey papers I used are from the Ambrosia pad, I used 3 of these, The torn orange strip, The patterend paper, and the grey backing paper. http://basicgreychallenges.blogspot.com/
