Friday Sketchers

There is a fab sketch over on http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ this week from Claudia. I really like this sketch and shall use it again. I used an older stamp I have, one I havent used for ages!!!
I coloured the stamped image with whispers pens, then I stamped the image again onto acetate and added some glitter to some of the spots. The strip the image is on is a hotp paper which I embossed with the swiss dots folder and the vertical strip is an anna griffin paper. The main backing I washed some h2o over to dirty it up a bit. The greeting is a hero arts. I added some flowers and a bit of ribbon.

On a completely different note, LOOK at my poor Sons eye!!!!! (this first pic is blurry)He had a fall at school yesterday, he was chasing his friends and fell onto the fence. It has swollen so much overnight, the top pic was this morning before school, the only reason he went in was because it was dads day and they were both looking forward to it!. Finally he went to sleep after a very restless time trying to settle, no doubt it was throbbing!!! the doc said he was lucky it was not any closer, this is close enough for me!.

My son is always in good spirits whether hurt or sick, and after some doses of child painkiller he is getting on with it, he has said it hurts bless I am sure it does. I just felt incredibly guilty as I wasnt there for him yesterday, the thought of him at school sobbing his heart out makes mine ache, as for the state of his eye he went down with a good wallop.

Half term kicks in today yippee!!! the clocks go back yippee!!! and High School Musical 3 is out yippee!!! well yippee for the kids not for me lol. We should hopefully be off to see it on tuesday, my daughter has invited her little friend and my son was adament he was coming too!. I have my birthday this week and next weekend is the last race of the season :o( with everything else I have to do it looks like there will be no rest for me! but at least being half term means I dont have to be up at too early an hour!.

Have a fabby weekend everyone.xxx
