Penny Black Challenge - Stars and Stripes

Over on http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ the challenge this week is stars and stripes, so here is my offering, I wanted it to be bright and I think it is just that!

I had to cut the star myself and I ran it through the swiss dots folder as it was too plain for me, the stripe paper is from a dcwv stack and the image was one from a stamp which has 3 ballerinas on it, I thought this one suited the bottom of the star tip better. I coloured the image using whispers pens and then added some ribbon and gems.
