Daring Cardmakers - King or Queen for a day

Over on http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/ the challenge this week was to use a crown or tiara on your card. I thought I was going to struggle with this as I dont have any stamps with crowns on, and then I remembered I had a cuttlebug embossing folder with a crown on it! yay! so here it is:-

I used papers from the all dressed up stack, and some plain cardstock from the jewels stack. I used the cuttlebug crown folder, and the princess one on black card and layered the crown on pink and black. The swirl is from maya road and I painted it black then added some pink pearls onto it, I edged the pink backing square with pink pearls and added a few flowers and a couple of bits of ribbon. I love this card! I was so pleased with how it came together as I was a little worried as the crown was so small that I may not be able to make the card fit around it, but I think it works.If I dont use it before hand I will keep it for my daughter on her birthday as it is just perfect for her!.
