The challenge on http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/ is to use this quote on your work, it can be inside, outside, or really whatever you like.
Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.
Henry Van Dyke
So realising I didnt have any bird stamps or any to do with the woods the closest thing I had was this stamp I used by crafty indivduals. I stamped and embossed it, and cut the border of it, I layered it on some cardstock, and vellum edged with black ink. I cut a couple of birds out (if thats what you could call them lol) and i edged the card with the black ink. For the quote I typed it all out on the dynmo and cut all the letters apart, I tore some vellum and cardstock and attached them together using ribbon and stuck the words down. I liked the quote so thought I would give this challenge a try, There are some stunning examples of cards on the blog!

Well you may have found it a challenge but you've come out the other side with a cracking card! I always love black & white and the quote came out fab with the dynmo :o)
I like your take on the theme for this week and the way you have done your words is great! Pascale :)
This is such a lovely card - like the way you've cut up the dymo.
Fab take on the challenge and they definitely look like birds to me! Love the Dymo tape for the wording - must have taken you an age to punch all that!
PS - most blog owners are delighted to have a link to their blog but if you can see a way to contact them to ask then they'll probably be even more delighted as they'll know you like their blog enough to want to make the link!
Nice card!.
Just a thought. have you ever seen this link: http://www.acme.com/labelmaker/ you can make the dyno m/c lables in any colour and lots of styles. And no bulkiness.
