its finished!

this is the one i wanted to show you yesterday as it was in progress. i used clay for my base, rolled it out and cut it to atc size, i then found the old pair of trousers i was meaning to chuck out, never worn them (lol) and cut the zip out of them. to add my details i added a little tag attached with string to the ribbon, i thought it was more quirky than adding them to the back. i embellished the coins whilst waiting for the clay to dry (so tedious). once my clay was dry i painted it with a mix of brown acrylics, i decided i didnt want it to be flat so sort of stippled it on, then blasted it with the heat gun to add a little extra texture, i stuck down the coins and zip, and coated the acrylic with a layer of pva. i am really chuffed!

so this is the finished atc! i so hope you all like it as much as i do!. its not something i would normally do and i am so pleased with it! i hope whoever recieves it is happy : )
on the left is a close up of the embellished coins, i used five pennies in total, 1 was covered with black stazon and i added some wings, 1 was covered with friendly plastic, 1 was covered with 2 layers of aqua embossing powder, 1 was painted with acrylic and a sprinkle of glitter, and the last i added a few ribbons and gems.
