A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge - Torn Paper

Hi everyone, hope you are all well, cor what a miserable day, and so cold, I thought spring was here obviously not :O(

Sorry I havent visited you all, shall go on a blog hop now and catch up.

This card is for the A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge and the theme is "torn paper", I didnt want lots of torn paper on my card, and it ended up quite clean I thinkI coloured the image with promarkers and tore around her, I then tore a little bit of white paper and run it through the swiss dots embossing folder I chalked the edges with a little pink chalk. I mounted the image on to this and folded some of the corners over. The ribbon is some from my stash, and the greeting is cosmo cricket.

Thanks for stopping by and Looking.xxx

Just love this, hun! Pretty and fresh are the words that 'spring' to mind (sorry, bad pun!). I was just thinking this afternoon that I don't use my Cuttlebug to its full potential (only use it for die cutting), so with your gorgeous creation as inspiration I'm going have a go with my embossing folders tomorrow.

Night, night lovely.

Thanks for the nice comment on my blog. Sorry to hear London is dreary, I grew up in Kent so can sympathize. This card is just adorable! I love how you folded over the paper to make a little pouch - that's really clever. Have a good one! Ali
